Son Ye-jin Jokes About Husband Hyun Bin in Ji Chang-wook Kiss Scene Post

Actress Son Ye-jin had a playful response after seeing a photoshopped image of her husband, actor Hyun Bin, inserted into a still from a kiss scene photo with co-star Ji Chang-wook. The post was shared on the official social media account of the Blue Dragon Series Awards on Sept. 22.

The post promoted an interview with Ji Chang-wook about his role in the Netflix series "The Scandal." It featured a still from the show, with Son Ye-jin and Ji Chang-wook leaning close together just before a kiss. Behind them, the awards team had edited in a photo of Hyun Bin with a sharp expression, as if watching the two actors.

Son Ye-jin joined the comments with a joke of her own. "Honey, what are you doing here?" she wrote.

Ji Chang-wook's interview quote made the post even funnier. Speaking about his chemistry with Son Ye-jin, he said, "Everyone talks about how the whole country is nervous around Hyun Bin, but I honestly didn't feel that pressure at all."

"The Scandal" is set during the Joseon era. It follows Lady Jo, played by Son Ye-jin, a woman whose talents are too great for the confined life expected of women at the time, and Jo Won, played by Ji Chang-wook, known as Joseon's greatest playboy. The two enter a risky bet over love.

Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin first worked together on the tvN drama "Crash Landing on You," and their on-screen partnership eventually developed into a real-life relationship. The couple married in 2022 and have one son.
