Danielle and Hanni Together Again? Former NewJeans Member Spotted in Seoul

Former NewJeans member Danielle and current member Hanni were spotted together at a charity marathon in Seoul. The sighting drew attention from fans as it came after Danielle's departure from the group.

On Nov. 7, photos of the two at the "2026 Miracle365 Purme Run" circulated on online communities and social media.

In the photos, Danielle and Hanni wear casual sportswear as they sit alongside a child attending the event. Both make V signs with their fingers as they pose for the camera.

Fans welcomed the photos, expressing their happiness at seeing Danielle and Hanni together again. The two drew particular attention because Hanni attended the event alongside Danielle despite the latter no longer being part of NewJeans.

The pair had previously drawn attention from fans over a possible birthday message. On Oct. 6, Hanni's birthday, Danielle posted a photo showing a woman from behind on social media. Fans speculated that the post was meant to celebrate Hanni's birthday, pointing to clues including a honey pot emoji Danielle left in the comments. The latest photos have once again brought their friendship into focus.

The "2026 Miracle365 Purme Run" was a charity marathon held to mark the 10th anniversary of the Purme Foundation Nexon Children's Rehabilitation Hospital. The event took place on Nov. 7 at Peace Plaza in World Cup Park in Seoul's Mapo district, starting at 9 a.m. KST.

Participants could choose between a three-kilometer walk and a 10-kilometer run. All entry fees were donated to support rehabilitation treatment for children with disabilities.

Danielle has also participated in other charity running events. In August, she completed an 8.15-kilometer run as part of the "2026 815 Run," an event held to mark Korea's Liberation Day and support descendants of Korean independence activists.

Meanwhile, Danielle left NewJeans after ADOR terminated her exclusive contract in December 2025. The agency subsequently filed a lawsuit seeking contractual penalties and damages from Danielle, one of her family members and former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin. The company is seeking approximately $24.3 million (33.1 billion won).

Hanni, meanwhile, returned to ADOR following discussions with the agency. She had expressed her intention to return in November 2025, and the agency confirmed her return the following month.

Fellow NewJeans members Haerin and Hyein have also returned to ADOR, while Minji's future with the agency remains under discussion. On July 22, NewJeans released an official video featuring Hanni, Haerin, Hyein and Minji, marking the group's first official group content in about 16 months.
