i-dle's Yuqi to Release Self-Written Second Mini-Album '27' in October

i-dle member Yuqi is returning as a soloist with a mini-album she wrote from start to finish. Her agency, Cube Entertainment, posted the tracklist for her second EP, "27," on i-dle's official social media accounts on the 27th.

The EP carries six songs in total, led by the title track "Stay." The other tracks are "快乐," "Chamomile Tea," "I Like You," "Feels Right" and "银河之舞." Fans have already heard one of them. Yuqi first performed "银河之舞" last month at the Macao stop of i-dle's world tour, "Syncopation." The tracklist image released alongside the announcement featured a swing, chamomile flowers, sunlight and sunflowers, each hinting at the mood of a different song.

Yuqi wrote the lyrics and composed the melody for every track on the album. Producers Siixk Jun and BOYTOY, who worked with her on her debut solo EP "YUQ1," returned for this project. Val Del Prete and a lineup of other Korean and international producers also joined the production team.

The album title, "27," refers to Yuqi's current age. Each track reflects the personal thoughts and small daily moments she has faced at 27.

Yuqi has steadily built her solo footing since her first outing. Her debut EP "YUQ1," released in 2024, sold more than 550,000 copies. Her first solo single, "Motivation," followed the next year and moved more than 410,000 copies in its first week.

Yuqi's second mini-album, "27," arrives on major music platforms on October 8.
