BLAKPINK's Jisoo Tears Up at Dior's Paris Show: "I Miss Her Too"

K-pop group BLACKPINK's Jisoo became tearful while speaking with the daughter of the late Mathilde Favier at a Dior fashion show.

Jisoo attended Dior's Spring/Summer 2027 collection show in Paris on Sept. 29 local time. Also present was Héloïse Agostinelli, the daughter of Dior public relations director Mathilde Favier, who died in a car accident in August.

A video shared on social media showed the two embracing and asking how each other was doing. Héloïse thanked Jisoo for her words and comfort. When Jisoo said, "I love you," Héloïse replied, "I love you too. My mom loved you so much too."

When Jisoo asked if she was OK, Héloïse said, "I miss my mom so much," and Jisoo responded, "I miss her too." Héloïse introduced Jisoo to her father, who was at the event, as "Mom's Korean daughter."

Jisoo wiped away tears as they continued talking. When Héloïse said, "You were crying," Jisoo replied, "I keep tearing up." The two later posed for a photo, and Jisoo tagged both Héloïse's and Favier's social media accounts.

As Dior's public relations director, Mathilde Favier accompanied Jisoo during her visits to Paris and appearances at brand events. Fans came to call her "Jisoo's Paris mom" after seeing her hold Jisoo's hand as they walked and look after her at events. Jisoo also maintained ties with Favier's family.

Favier died in a car accident in France's Deux-Sèvres region on Aug. 17. She was 57. Film producer Nicolas Altmayer, who was with her at the time, also died in the crash.

After learning of her death, Jisoo wrote on social media, "From my very first encounter with Dior, you welcomed me so warmly and kindly that Paris felt like a second home," adding, "I will forever cherish the birthdays we celebrated together and the special moments our families shared." She continued her tribute: "I will always be grateful for the care, love and support you showed me."
