Will BABYMONSTER Shake Up Its World Tour Setlist With Oct. 23 Comeback?

K-pop girl group BABYMONSTER is set to return with new music roughly four months after its last release.

YG Entertainment posted a "COMING SOON" teaser on its official blog on Oct. 6, announcing that the group's new song will be released on Oct. 23 at 1 p.m.

The teaser image focuses on mood rather than revealing details about the release. A glowing planet appears against a dark backdrop, with a long trail of light stretching across the water below. Its black-and-white palette and expansive composition create a mysterious, otherworldly atmosphere. The song's title, release format and other details have not yet been announced.

The upcoming release follows the digital single "SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA," which BABYMONSTER released on June 8. Since putting out its third EP, "CHOOM," the group has continued releasing music, including "SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA" and album tracks "I LIKE IT" and "MOON."

The comeback comes in the middle of BABYMONSTER's second world tour, "2026-27 BABYMONSTER WORLD TOUR [CHOOM]." The group recently performed for two nights at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan, drawing a combined audience of 90,000, according to YG Entertainment.

BABYMONSTER will next perform in Jakarta, Indonesia, on Oct. 17. The tour spans 31 shows in 18 cities across five continents, covering Asia, Oceania, South America, North America and Europe. It remains to be seen whether the new song will be added to the setlist after its release.
