NCT WISH Mixes Things Up With New Tracks on 'I SPY'

NCT WISH has shared more details about the music on its upcoming fourth EP, "I SPY," ahead of its Oct. 12 release.

The six-track album will include the title track "I SPY" alongside B-sides "We Own This Street," "UPGRADE" and "Super Major," each approaching the group's youthful confidence through a different sound.

"We Own This Street" is a hip-hop-based alternative pop track built around a heavy beat and contrasting sounds. Its lyrics center on breaking up the repetition of everyday city life and making the streets their own.

Electronic uptempo track "UPGRADE," meanwhile, continues the video game theme introduced on "Videohood," a B-side from NCT WISH's third EP. This time, the members position themselves as a "bug" capable of breaking through existing limits and opening up a new world.

"Super Major" takes a brighter approach, pairing synths with an upbeat pop-dance sound and lyrics about moving forward despite an unpredictable future.

"I SPY" will be released Oct. 12 at 6 p.m. KST.
