What Happens When SEVENTEEN’s JEONGHAN and JOSHUA Join Forces?

K-pop group SEVENTEEN's new unit JEONGHAN X JOSHUA is set to release "12 o'clock," a song that blurs the boundary between dreams and reality. The duo unveiled the tracklist for its first mini-album, "DREAMSCAPE," through SEVENTEEN's official social media accounts at midnight on Oct. 7.

The seven-track album features the title track "12 o'clock," along with "Like you," "Outside," "One plus one," "Not personal (JOSHUA Solo)," "Coloring (JEONGHAN Solo)" and "No looking back."

"12 o'clock" follows JEONGHAN and JOSHUA as they pursue a figure in their dreams while moving between noon and midnight. BUMZU, a producer and artist who has worked closely with SEVENTEEN for years, contributed to both the lyrics and composition. The album trailer released earlier also hinted at the song's concept by repeatedly showing clocks pointing to 12.

The album also includes solo tracks that highlight each member's musical style. JEONGHAN contributed lyrics to "Coloring (JEONGHAN Solo)," while JOSHUA took part in writing and composing "Not personal (JOSHUA Solo)." JOSHUA is also credited on the closing track, "No looking back."

Due out on Oct. 19, "DREAMSCAPE" captures a world in which unconscious fantasies that emerge during sleep intersect with aspirations pursued in reality. The album draws inspiration from the Ouroboros, the ancient symbol of a serpent devouring its own tail. Through seven tracks, the duo depicts two dream worlds repeatedly intertwining and colliding in an endless cycle.

Following the album's release, JEONGHAN X JOSHUA will embark on the six-city concert tour "JEONGHAN X JOSHUA JOURNEY INTO [DREAMING]." The tour will open at Inspire Arena in Incheon on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 before continuing to Saitama, Macau, Taipei, Busan and Hong Kong.
