BOYNEXTDOOR Brings Out Its Playful Side Before North American Tour

BOYNEXTDOOR is showing a different side of its latest album, trading the intense energy of "ANIMAL" for a lighter, more playful performance of "Count To Love (Korean Ver.)."

The six-member group performed the track from its first full-length album repackage "HOME: DELUXE" on Mnet's M Countdown on October 15, highlighting the contrast between the album's title track and its B-side.

"Count To Love (Korean Ver.)" is an upbeat dance song that compares the playful complaints of someone in love to counting numbers. Its performance features bright melodies, animated facial expressions and choreography that incorporates gestures inspired by the lyrics.

The stage offers a contrast to "ANIMAL," the repackage's title track, which explores the determination to pursue what one wants without holding back.

For that performance, BOYNEXTDOOR adopted a more aggressive style, incorporating animal-inspired movements and large-scale choreography alongside backup dancers.

The two songs reflect the group's recent experimentation with different musical styles.

Since debuting, BOYNEXTDOOR has explored easy-listening pop through tracks such as "But I Like You," "Nice Guy" and "IF I SAY, I LOVE YOU," while incorporating hip-hop influences into songs including "Dangerous," "I Feel Good" and "Knock Knock."

The group's first full-length album and its repackage have continued that approach, with "VIRAL" drawing inspiration from second- and third-generation K-POP and "ANIMAL" introducing electro-punk elements.

Members have also participated in creating the group's music, incorporating their own ideas and experiences into its songwriting.

BOYNEXTDOOR will continue performing "Count To Love (Korean Ver.)" on music shows this week before concluding its "HOME: DELUXE" promotions with BOYNEXTDOOR 'HOME Party' at Blue Square Woori WON Banking Hall in Seoul on October 19.

The group will then turn its attention to North America, opening BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR 'KNOCK ON Vol.2' IN NORTH AMERICA at The Bomb Factory in Dallas on October 30.

The tour will visit 10 cities, including Chicago, New York, Vancouver and Seattle.
