RIIZE Lets Its Vocals Take Center Stage in 'Insomnia'

RIIZE has released its new single "Insomnia," introducing a softer, more emotional sound alongside a drama-style music video featuring all six members.

Released Oct. 26 at midnight KST, "Insomnia" is an acoustic pop track built around gentle guitar melodies and restrained vocals. The lyrics explore sleepless nights, when thoughts of someone become increasingly difficult to escape.

The accompanying music video follows six characters struggling with insomnia, with the members taking on individual acting roles to portray their different emotional experiences.

To celebrate the release, RIIZE is hosting "RIIZE into INSOMNIA," a four-day fan event at Space S50 in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, through Oct. 29.

The event features performances, talk sessions, exhibitions and interactive activities, with a different program scheduled each day. The Oct. 26 event at 11 p.m. KST will also be livestreamed on RIIZE's official YouTube channel.

The group will begin music show promotions later this week, appearing on KBS2's "Music Bank" on Oct. 30, MBC's "Show! Music Core" on Oct. 31 and SBS' "Inkigayo" on Nov. 1.

The members previously highlighted the song's vocal harmonies as one of its defining features.
