HYBE Appoints Juan S. Arenas to Lead Global Label Services Restructuring
HYBE is restructuring its label support operations into a unified global organization, appointing HYBE America executive Juan S. Arenas as president of its newly expanded Global Label Services division.
The company announced on October 27 that its existing Label Services organization, which supports music distribution, marketing and promotional activities, will be reorganized to serve HYBE's labels and subsidiaries across international markets.
The move is part of HYBE's efforts to strengthen its global business infrastructure under Chairman Bang Si-hyuk's "multi-home, multi-genre" strategy, which focuses on establishing operations in major music markets while developing artists across different regions and genres.
Arenas, who has served as chief intellectual property officer of HYBE America, will oversee the expanded organization.
Global Label Services will act as a central hub for music distribution, marketing and promotion, supporting both Korean artists entering overseas markets and international artists expanding into South Korea and other territories.
Its responsibilities will include developing global distribution strategies, managing supply chains, coordinating relationships with regional distributors and digital platforms, and providing market-specific promotional support.
HYBE first established its Label Services organization in the United States in 2024 as part of its HYBE 2.0 growth strategy. The company subsequently expanded the model to support labels in South Korea and other regions.
The latest restructuring extends that framework across HYBE's global subsidiaries, allowing the company to coordinate services and resources across its international operations.
Alongside the organizational changes, HYBE announced several senior appointments.
Nicole Csabai, formerly senior vice president of revenue at Interscope Records, has been named senior vice president of global distribution. Based in Nashville, Csabai will oversee international music distribution and partnerships, including music catalog operations, digital streaming platforms and commerce-related activities.
HYBE has also established an Artist Success Unit within its global artist services operations. The new team will serve as a dedicated point of contact for labels, coordinating artist projects and connecting them with support services for international activities.
Melissa Victor-Burkhardt, previously senior vice president overseeing publicity and brand strategy at Epic Records, has been appointed executive vice president to lead the unit.
Johanna Fuentes, whose entertainment public relations experience includes CBS and Warner Bros. Entertainment, will work alongside Arenas on artist publicity within Global Label Services.
The restructuring follows HYBE's recent creation of a chief people and transformation officer position, with Jenni Pfaff appointed to oversee personnel and organizational development across its international operations.
Pfaff previously held the same position at HYBE America and HYBE Latin America. Her expanded responsibilities include global recruitment, talent allocation and strengthening collaboration between regional offices.
HYBE CEO Lee Jae-sang said the restructuring is intended to strengthen the company's distribution, marketing, promotional and publicity capabilities across its international markets.
He described the move as part of HYBE's broader efforts to develop a global infrastructure that allows artists to maintain their individual strengths while reaching audiences in more regions.
The changes reflect HYBE's continuing shift toward a business model in which its international subsidiaries operate with shared infrastructure while pursuing artist development and commercial opportunities in their respective markets.
