TXT Is Choosing Love Over Everything in "Angel Bite" Ahead of Comeback
TOMORROW X TOGETHER has offered fans a first glimpse of the lyrics to "Angel Bite," the title track of its upcoming ninth mini album, "PERFECT STORM."
On November 2 at 9 p.m. KST, the five-member group shared a video through its official social media channels featuring lyrics from several of its previous releases displayed on a computer screen.
As the video progresses, an error message appears before revealing a line from the upcoming song: "Even if I have nothing, I still want to be with you."
The lyric suggests that "Angel Bite" will explore the desire to remain alongside someone despite difficult circumstances, continuing TXT's longstanding approach to portraying the emotional uncertainties of youth.
Since debuting in 2019, TXT has developed a musical identity built around unconventional song titles and lyrics that reflect growing up, navigating relationships and confronting an unfamiliar world.
Their debut track, "CROWN," explored feelings of confusion and isolation through the imagery of a boy growing horns, while "Blue Hour" used the boundary between two worlds to capture a fleeting emotional moment.
In "LO$ER=LO♡ER," the group portrayed love as something worth holding onto even in the face of failure, while later releases such as "Deja Vu" and "Over The Moon" continued exploring promises, reunion and the desire for lasting relationships.
The newly revealed "Angel Bite" lyric appears to build on those themes, shifting the focus toward choosing to stay with someone even when there is little else to offer.
According to the group's agency, "PERFECT STORM" will explore the struggles of Gen Z youth as they move beyond teenage fantasies and uncertainty to confront the pressures of reality.
The six-track album will include "Angel Bite," "Storm is...," "Higher Love," "Sweetest Escape," "Touch the Sky" and "Hate It or Love It."
TXT's ninth mini album, "PERFECT STORM," is scheduled for release on November 16 at 6 p.m. KST.
