NMIXX Earns a Ministerial Commendation Before Wrapping First World Tour

NMIXX has been recognized at the 2026 Korean Popular Culture and Arts Awards, receiving a commendation from South Korea's Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The group was named among the recipients at the 17th annual ceremony, held on October 29 at the Haeoreum Grand Theater of the National Theater of Korea in Seoul.

Established in 2010, the Korean Popular Culture and Arts Awards recognize artists and industry professionals for their contributions to the development of South Korea's popular culture and entertainment industries.

NMIXX was unable to attend the ceremony due to promotional activities for its latest mini album, "Strange Muse," but shared an acceptance message through JYP Entertainment.

"We sincerely thank you for giving us such a meaningful award. It feels even more special to be recognized alongside so many people who contribute to popular culture," the group said.

"We would also like to thank NSWER and everyone who continues to show us unwavering love and support. We will do our best to repay that support with great music and performances."

Since debuting in February 2022 NMIXX has developed a musical identity built around genre-blending releases and live performances. The group is currently promoting its sixth mini album, "Strange Muse," released on October 19 alongside title track "Birthday Wish."

NMIXX is also preparing to conclude its first world tour, "EPISODE 1: ZERO FRONTIER," with three concerts at Inspire Arena in Incheon from November 27 to 29.

The tour began at the same venue in November 2025, with its opening concerts selling out.

According to JYP Entertainment, all three upcoming finale performances have also sold out, bringing the group's first world tour to a close with another series of sold-out shows.
