Hyebin (혜빈)

As the leader of MOMOLAND, Hyebin — born Lee Hye-bin on January 12, 1996 — has been a constant presence at the center of one of K-pop's more turbulent group trajectories, guiding the ensemble through significant lineup changes while maintaining her roles as vocalist, rapper, and the act's formal figurehead.

Debut & Formation

MOMOLAND emerged through MLD Entertainment's reality competition format, and Hyebin was among the members who made it through to form the final lineup. As leader, she took on responsibilities that extend beyond performance — serving as the group's representative voice in public appearances and the internal anchor through periods of member departures and roster shifts that have tested the group's continuity over the years.

Music & Discography

MOMOLAND's commercial breakthrough came with "BBoom BBoom," a high-energy track that leaned into retro-inflected dance-pop and became a genuine viral phenomenon in early 2018, driving the group's profile well beyond the Korean domestic market. Hyebin's dual position as both vocalist and rapper gave her a varied role across the group's output, contributing to the rhythmic interplay that characterized their sound during that peak period. The group continued releasing music through the years that followed, navigating the challenge of sustaining momentum that "BBoom BBoom" had generated.
