Kim Jin-hwan — who performs as Jay and was previously credited as Jinhwan — is a member of the South Korean group iKON, an act whose run of mid-to-late 2010s releases placed them among YG Entertainment's most commercially active acts. With several members now returning from mandatory military service, Jay is set to headline iKON's iKON FOUREVER TOUR in May 2025, marking the group's first major live gathering in approximately two years.
Debut & Group Formation
Jay joined iKON as one of its founding members, having also participated in the survival competition format that shaped the group's earliest lineup. He later appeared as a main vocalist in IT'S ONE, a unit project formed through the competition program *Kingdom*, demonstrating a vocal profile capable of carrying a lead role beyond iKON's broader ensemble dynamic.
Activities
With four members — Jay, Bobby, Jung Chan-woo, and Song Yun-hyeong — having completed their mandatory military service, iKON is scheduled to perform together at Jangchung Arena in Seoul on May 16th and 17th, 2025. Billed as the iKON FOUREVER TOUR, the dates represent the group's first shared stage since completing their respective service obligations, and are framed around close fan interaction at an intimate arena setting.
