Seungmin (승민)

Seungmin — full name Kim Seung-min — is a vocalist and member of Stray Kids, the JYP Entertainment group that has become one of the dominant acts in fourth-generation K-pop. Within the group, he serves as a core voice in the Vocal Racha sub-unit, which draws together Stray Kids' principal singers and functions as one of several creative factions inside the larger ensemble.

Role within Stray Kids

Stray Kids formed through a 2017 JYP Entertainment survival program of the same name and debuted in 2018 with a line-up built around a self-producing model. Seungmin contributes as one of the group's main vocalists, anchoring the melodic center of a sound that otherwise leans heavily into rap and production-forward sonics. The Vocal Racha sub-unit, alongside the rap-focused 3RACHA and dance-centered unit arrangements, reflects the degree to which Stray Kids compartmentalizes its members' strengths while maintaining the group as its primary vehicle.
