Stray Kids' Seungmin to Limit Activities as He Recovers From Ankle Fracture
Stray Kids member Seungmin will participate in only limited activities as he continues recovering from an ankle fatigue fracture.
JYP Entertainment announced on July 2 that the singer is focusing on treatment and rest under medical guidance. Because of his injury, Seungmin will be absent from the production of some upcoming content and will keep his activities to a minimum while prioritizing his recovery.
The agency said Seungmin was eager to continue his scheduled activities, but after careful discussions, it was decided that resting would give him the best chance to return to fans in good health. JYP added that his participation in future official schedules will depend on his condition and recovery, with any changes to be announced separately.
The company also apologized to fans for the news and said it would provide Seungmin with its full support throughout his recovery.
Seungmin previously missed Stray Kids' performance at The Governors Ball Music Festival in New York City on June 6 due to the same ankle injury.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids are set to launch their new world tour, "Stray Kids World Tour 'RUN IT'", with five concerts at KSPO DOME on July 25, 26 and 29, followed by Aug. 1 and 2.
