Cha Woong Ki, performing under the name Woongki, arrived at his current footing in the K-pop industry through one of the genre's more demanding routes — a string of competitive audition programs before landing a debut with the boy group AHOF under F&F Entertainment.
A path through auditions
Before settling into a group, Woongki accumulated experience across multiple televised competition formats. He appeared on *To Be World Klass*, *Boys Planet*, and *Universe League*, a circuit that, while it did not produce an immediate debut, gave him sustained public exposure and stage experience at a point when many artists his age were still unsigned. That cumulative visibility ultimately fed into his debut with AHOF.
Prior to AHOF, he had also been a member of TO1, giving him an earlier taste of group activity before his trajectory shifted.
Dual roles in the industry
Woongki's background extends beyond performance — he is noted as a former actor as well as a vocalist and rapper, a dual grounding that is relatively uncommon among idol-track artists at his career stage. Within AHOF, he occupies both vocal and rap roles. He is also a current member of LUMINOUS, another group running alongside his AHOF commitments.
