AHOF (아홉)

AHOF is a nine-member boy group operating under CAT'S EYE Okinawa whose early career has been defined by a rapid push toward international visibility. Within roughly a year of activity, the group claimed a Rookie category win at the 14th Top Ten Awards (TTA), where they were recognized as a Best Global Artist — a distinction that preceded the announcement of their first Asia tour and signaled the ambitions their agency has placed on them.

Debut & Formation

The group comprises nine members — Chih En, Daisuke, Han, JL, Jeongwoo, Juwon, Shuaibo, Steven, and Woongki — whose names reflect a multinational makeup consistent with the broader trend in K-pop of assembling cross-border rosters intended to carry built-in regional appeal across East and Southeast Asia. Formal details of their debut date are not yet in the K-Pop!t record, though coverage from early 2026 places them within their first full year of activity.

Music & Discography

By the time contract extension discussions became public in early 2026, AHOF had already released two mini-albums in the preceding year, a production pace that reflects a compressed promotional schedule common to newer groups trying to establish catalog quickly. The specific titles and lead tracks from those releases have not been detailed in available coverage, but the output was sufficient to sustain global promotional activity across the period.

Achievements

The Rookie category win at the 14th Top Ten Awards, held in May 2026, represented the group's most concrete industry recognition to date. The TTA citation of Best Global Artist aligned with the Asia tour announcement that followed — the group addressed their fandom, FOHA, directly upon accepting the award, naming a worldwide meeting as their next goal. Separately, F&F Entertainment confirmed in March 2026 that contract extension talks were progressing positively, an unusual public disclosure that suggested confidence from both the agency and the group heading into their next contract cycle.

Activities

The group's public profile in early 2026 included editorial photo coverage, with members JL and Jeongwoo each featured individually, and the full group appearing in fan-facing content during the same period. In June 2026, AHOF drew criticism after filming social media content using bright lights during a professional baseball game, an incident that drew complaints from players and spectators alike. Their agency issued a formal apology, acknowledging the disruption and committing to stricter adherence to venue conduct standards going forward. The episode did not appear to interrupt their broader promotional timeline, which continued to center on the Asia tour build-up.
