VERIVERY (베리베리)

VERIVERY arrived on January 9, 2019 under Jellyfish Entertainment, the seven-member group's name constructed from the Latin *veri* ("truth") and the English "very" — a compound intended to convey, in the label's framing, genuine and energetic innovation. In the years since, the group has built a steady presence in the mid-tier of the fourth-generation boy-group landscape, with individual members beginning to extend into solo recordings and screen work alongside the group's collective activities.

Debut & Formation

Jellyfish Entertainment, best known as the home of VIXX, launched VERIVERY in early 2019 with a seven-member lineup. The group entered a K-pop market already crowded with fourth-generation acts, positioning itself around a blend of performance-forward presentation and a group identity built on authenticity — the philosophical thread encoded in the name itself. Their fandom, formally named VERRER, has followed the group across both collective and individual endeavors in the years since launch.

Members

VERIVERY's current lineup of seven is as follows:

• Dongheon
• Gyehyeon — Lead Vocalist
• Hoyoung
• Kangmin
• Minchan
• Yeonho — Main Vocalist
• Yongseung

Yeonho and Gyehyeon anchor the group's vocal output as Main and Lead Vocalist respectively.

Activities

By early 2026, member Kangmin had emerged as one of the group's most publicly active individuals outside of group schedules. He participated in the survival program Boys Planet 2, a profile that extended his solo visibility and fed directly into subsequent projects. In late February 2026, it was confirmed that Kangmin would take the lead role in the short-form drama Jump Boy LIVE, a youth narrative centered on an outsider who gains teleportation abilities; the project was framed as a natural extension of the growth-oriented image he had cultivated on the survival show.

Concurrent with his acting debut, Kangmin launched solo recording activities with a single album titled Free Falling, for which he appeared in a fashion editorial for the April 2026 issue of *Singles* magazine. In interviews around the release, he described the single as an attempt to translate a specific emotional register — anxiety — into visual and sonic form, and credited SHINee's Taemin as a formative influence on his decision to pursue an idol career, citing an aspiration toward Taemin's caliber of stage command across a full performance.
