VERIVERY's Kangmin Reveals Hair Transplant on 'Mr. House Husband 2'

K-POP boy group VERIVERY's Kangmin revealed he had a hair transplant during a recent Korean variety show appearance. The idol shared the detail on KBS2's "Mr. House Husband 2," which aired on Sept. 12.

Kangmin appeared as a special guest on the episode. Actress Lee Yo-won praised his looks as soon as she saw him, calling him "really handsomely put together." Singer Park Seo-jin chimed in, saying Kangmin looked "like a cartoon character."

Asked when people first started calling him good-looking, Kangmin said it began in middle school. He explained that compliments started pouring in after he took off his glasses, joking that "that's when I started making a fuss about myself."

Lee agreed, saying she had a similar experience after ditching her own glasses. Kangmin then shifted the tone. "I'm not all natural either," he said. What sounded like a plastic surgery confession turned out to be something else. "I got a hair transplant," he admitted.

Park, who has had the same procedure, immediately asked about the method. "Was it the incision method?" he asked, drawing laughter from the cast.

Kangmin has been steadily expanding his presence on Korean variety television as both a special MC and guest. Born in 2003, he served as a special MC on "Show! Music Core" last December and co-hosted "PLANET C : HOME RACE" alongside fellow VERIVERY member Dongheon.

VERIVERY released its eighth mini album, "CONFETTI," on Sept. 7. The group is currently promoting the title track "Don't Panic!"
