NMIXX's Sullyun Cries Through Back Pain on World Tour
NMIXX member Sullyun was seen in tears on stage while pushing through severe back pain during the group's ongoing world tour.
Footage from the show has been circulating on social media and online communities under titles like "Sullyun took the stage in tears."
The clips show Sullyun holding her lower back and moving carefully through the performance. She continued the show but eventually broke down in tears on stage. After the concert ended, fans flooded online posts with concerned reactions, writing comments like "I hope she doesn't push herself," "Health comes first," and "I hope she rests and recovers."
Sullyun later addressed her condition directly through a fan messaging app. "I think I overdid it during dress rehearsal yesterday, and it started hurting then," she wrote. "I put on a pain patch, took some medicine, and went to sleep, but when I woke up it had gotten a little worse."
She also explained why she still went on stage. "I told the staff and went to get laser treatment and a bunch of other treatments," she wrote. "The company and the hospital both said it would be better to rest, but I wanted to do at least part of the show."
Sullyun shared a moment from the hospital as well. "I was lying face down getting an injection, and the bed ended up covered in tears," she wrote. "I kept saying 'I'm sorry' and wiping the bed with the tissues they gave me, and the nurses told me, 'It's okay. Everyone cries.'"
Fans responded with messages of concern after the update spread. "She must have been in so much pain to cry like that," one wrote. Others said they hoped she would put her health before the stage, adding that her sense of responsibility made the situation harder to watch.
NMIXX kicked off its first world tour, "EPISODE 1: ZERO FRONTIER," on June 13 in Bangkok. The tour will continue through five Asian cities, including Singapore, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong and Tokyo.
