Kyulkyung Surprises I.O.I Fans at 10th Anniversary Reunion Concert

Former I.O.I member Kyulkyung turned up at the project group's 10th anniversary reunion concert in Hong Kong, surprising fans even though she did not join the official lineup.

The actress shared photos from backstage and the audience on her social media on June 23, signaling that her bond with her former members remains intact across borders.

In the photos, Kyulkyung is seated in a staff area in front of the audience barricade, watching the I.O.I members perform on stage. She wears a relaxed gray hoodie in one shot. In another, she poses for the camera in large hoop earrings, pursing her lips playfully. The images quickly drew warm responses from global fans, who reacted to her natural look and the affection she showed for her former groupmates from the audience.

Kyulkyung has built a career that moves between South Korea and China. She debuted in 2016 through the Mnet survival show "Produce 101," which formed the project group I.O.I. She then re-debuted with PRISTIN in 2017. A native of China, she shifted her focus to acting in 2020 with the Chinese drama "The Legendary Female General" (Daedang Yeobeobui) and has steadily built a career on screen there since.

She did not take part in I.O.I's official 10th anniversary reunion activities. But her surprise visit to the Hong Kong concert gave both the members and the fans an unexpected gift that night.
