KATSEYE to Perform at Olivia Rodrigo Festival Benefiting Women's Charities
KATSEYE will join the lineup for Olivia Rodrigo's inaugural "Daisy Chain Fields" festival, a benefit concert that will donate 100% of its proceeds to organizations supporting women and girls.
The HYBE x Geffen girl group is set to make a stop in Irvine, California, on Aug. 29 before launching "THE WILDWORLD TOUR" in September to take part in the event.
"Daisy Chain Fields" marks the first edition of Olivia Rodrigo's festival and features an all-female lineup including Chappell Roan, Mitski, Doechii, and Rodrigo herself. According to the announcement, all proceeds from the event will be donated to charities dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls.
In an Instagram post announcing the festival, Rodrigo wrote, "I firmly believe that joy, community, and music can be the drivers of meaningful change and I'm hopeful this festival will be just that."
KATSEYE also shared their excitement about joining the event by commenting on Rodrigo's announcement. Member Sophia LaForteza later posted a photo on her Instagram Story showing a handwritten letter that Rodrigo had sent to the group's five members calling them “Superstars” and noting how she is excited to “share this bill with them.”
Although KATSEYE has previously performed at major music festivals, "Daisy Chain Fields" will mark the group's first appearance at a benefit festival centered on charitable giving. The announcement was met with positive reactions across social media, with many fans highlighting what they saw as a natural fit between KATSEYE and Rodrigo. Comments such as "KATSEYE being part of the festival created by Olivia Rodrigo feels so right" reflected fans' view that both artists share messages centered on encouraging and empowering young women.
The appearance comes just weeks before KATSEYE embarks on "THE WILDWORLD TOUR," adding another high-profile performance to the group's schedule ahead of the tour's official kickoff in September.
