Singer Taeyeon will release a remake of the Japanese hit song "Bansanka" on June 29, marking the first release from the new "J-POP REMAKE" project.

Ahead of the release, a music video teaser was unveiled through Korean-Japanese singer and YouTuber Kangnam's official YouTube channel, "Neighborhood Friend Kangnami." The clip stars RESCENE members Woni and Minami, who portray two girls gradually forming a connection through a quiet, emotional story.

Minami plays a girl struggling with emotional wounds, while Woni portrays someone who reaches out to her. The teaser hints at the narrative of the full music videos through understated performances and atmospheric visuals.

The remake combines Taeyeon's signature vocal style with a new interpretation of the original Japanese song. Fans are also anticipating the chemistry between Taeyeon's vocals and the performances by Woni and Minami.

The "J-POP REMAKE" project reintroduces well-known Japanese songs through Korean artists. "Bansanka" is the first release in the series, with additional remake tracks to follow.
