Ji Ye-eun Reveals Rare Fight With Boyfriend Vata on Korean Dating Show

Korean comedian Ji Ye-eun is opening up about a recent fight with her boyfriend, dancer Vata. The couple, who went public with their relationship in April, will share the story on JTBC's dating reality show "Love War," airing June 30 at 8:50 p.m. KST.

"Love War" pairs hosts Lee Hyori, Seo Jang-hoon, and Heechul with couples on the verge of breaking up. The hosts step in like mediators, working through each couple's conflicts and helping them decide whether to stay together or split. Ji Ye-eun joins the upcoming episode as a special guest, framed on the show as a "diplomat" for the featured couples.

During the episode, Ji Ye-eun shares a real-life couple story of her own. When Lee Hyori asks if she and Vata have argued recently, she answers honestly. "Vata is the type who worries a lot," she says. "I kept saying, 'I told you it's fine, why are you being like this,' and our voices ended up getting louder."

Ji Ye-eun confirmed her relationship with Vata in April. Her agency said at the time that the two had grown close as colleagues before dating, and asked for warm support from the public. Both born in 1994, Ji Ye-eun and Vata first met as friends at church and later became a couple, according to the agency.

Since then, Ji Ye-eun has appeared on several Korean variety shows and spoken openly about her boyfriend. On one program, she shared the pet names he calls her, including "agi," meaning baby, and "kangadi," a playful spin on the Korean word for puppy.
