ILLIT's WONHEE Steps Into the Boxing Ring in New Coupang Play Variety Show

ILLIT's WONHEE is trading the stage for a boxing ring. In the next episode of the Coupang Play reality variety show "Wonhee Is Twenty," the K-pop idol takes on boxing training alongside Patricia, breaking a sweat through tough conditioning drills before showing off a competitive streak once she steps between the ropes.

"Wonhee Is Twenty" follows the 20-year-old idol as she works through a bucket list of firsts with a rotating cast of older women, framed on the show as "life unnies." The series leans into the idea of growing up on camera, with each guest guiding Wonhee through a new experience.

In the newly released preview, Wonhee and her fifth "life unnie," Patricia, head to a boxing gym. The two start out looking confident, but the mood shifts fast once the conditioning work begins. Jump rope, mitt drills, and burpees leave them gasping for air. At one point, Wonhee flops onto the floor and shouts, "This isn't it!" The moment plays for laughs, showing how quickly the training wears them down.

The tone changes once Wonhee steps into the ring. She throws punches with confidence, revealing sharper athletic instincts than the earlier scenes suggest. The show teases a hidden competitive side that surfaces once the gloves are on.

Stills released alongside the preview show Wonhee in full boxing gear, working through drills with Patricia. The two build an easy chemistry as they push through the conditioning work together.

"Wonhee Is Twenty" streams every Saturday at 4 p.m. KST on Coupang Play.
