So Ji-sub, Choi Dae-hoon Team Up in SBS Action Drama 'Agent Kim Reactivated'

So Ji-sub and Choi Dae-hoon are joining forces to save a missing daughter. The two actors star in SBS's Friday-Saturday drama Agent Kim Reactivated, an action series about a father who becomes the most dangerous man alive to get his daughter back.

The show has built momentum fast. "Agent Kim Reactivated" opened at 9.5% for its first episode and climbed past 15.7% by its second. In Good Data Corporation's Fundex survey for the fourth week of June, So Ji-sub ranked No. 1 in TV and OTT drama cast buzz, and the show itself ranked No. 1 in TV drama buzz. That combination of ratings and online attention has raised expectations for how much further Episode 3 can push the numbers.

Episode 3 airs on the 3rd at 9:50 p.m. KST. In it, Kim Boo-jang (played by So Ji-sub) tracks the whereabouts of his missing daughter Min-ji and turns to his old friend Sung Han-soo, played by Choi Dae-hoon. The two then face off against a group of unidentified agents.

New stills give a preview of the action. Kim Boo-jang appears in a black suit, watching his enemies' movements with sharp focus. Sung Han-soo, dressed in a taekwondo uniform, meets them with a hardened stare. In another shot, the two stand back-to-back with pistols drawn, scanning the room from every angle. The two characters have long shared close calls with each other, and their return as a team is one of the episode's biggest hooks.

Producers said Episode 3 is when the show shifts into higher gear. "In Episode 3 of 'Agent Kim Reactivated,' Kim Boo-jang and Sung Han-soo become a team again, and the 'Dad Universe' action really picks up speed," the production team said. "The fast pacing, satisfying action, and the bromance chemistry between the two actors will give viewers a real jolt of catharsis."
