Former NewJeans member Danielle, currently in an exclusive contract dispute with her agency ADOR, recently completed a half marathon in Australia.

Official results from the 2026 China Airlines Half Marathon, held on Australia's Gold Coast, show she finished the 21.0975-kilometer course under her legal name, Danielle Marsh.

The race data was shared through online communities. Danielle crossed the finish line with a gun time of one hour, 49 minutes, and 13 seconds. She placed 3,224th out of 5,387 total runners, and 1,003rd among female participants. Photos posted online show her running the course in a pink athletic outfit.

The event is an international race held as part of the larger Gold Coast Marathon program. Its timing drew attention because it took place while her legal battle with ADOR is still in motion.

At the third hearing of the damages lawsuit, held on the 2nd before the 31st Civil Division of the Seoul Central District Court, ADOR argued that Danielle had pursued solo entertainment activities without the company's approval. The agency listed several alleged contract violations, including music work with the band Emotional Oranges, an overseas magazine photo shoot, and an independent deal with a watch brand. ADOR also pointed to a contract with a Chinese company and the creation of a separate business entity as grounds for liability.

Danielle's side pushed back. Her representatives said the Emotional Oranges collaboration was a project with no financial gain involved, and that many of the activities ADOR cited were joint efforts by all the members, not solo moves by Danielle. The argument, in effect, is that the agency has overstated parts of its case.

ADOR filed the damages suit against Danielle and others late last year. The company recently submitted a request to change its claim amount, lowering it from 43.09 billion won to 33.09 billion won. Among the other NewJeans members, Hanni, Haerin, and Hyein have completed their return to ADOR, while Minji is still working out the details of her own return.
