NCT's Jaehyun Previews Emotional Journey in '99 Degrees' MV Teaser

NCT's Jaehyun has given fans a first glimpse of the music video for his upcoming single "99 Degrees."

The teaser, unveiled July 9 through the SMTOWN YouTube channel, moves between scenes of Jaehyun on stage, wandering through the city and spending quiet moments in his daily life. Combined with a preview of the song's warm vocals, the clip hints at a reflective story about embracing oneself despite imperfections.

The full music video follows Jaehyun as he returns to places tied to his past, including a theater and a recording studio, revisiting memories that shaped him. Rather than striving for perfection, the story centers on accepting flaws as part of personal growth.

Written and composed by Jaehyun, "99 Degrees" is a piano-driven ballad that gradually expands into a fuller instrumental arrangement before closing with his voice alone. The title refers to water at 99 degrees, just short of boiling, using the image as a metaphor for finding the truest form of love through imperfection.

"99 Degrees" and its music video will be released on global music platforms at 6 p.m. KST on July 10.
