RESCENE Upgrades From Two Rooms to Five in New Group Dorm

Rising K-pop girl group RESCENE is opening up about their new group dorm. The update comes through a guest appearance on the YouTube channel "Sul Bitneun Yoonjumo," set to release July 10 at 5:30 p.m. KST.

Three of the group's five members appear on the episode: Minami, LIV, and Jenna. Wony and May could not join due to scheduling.

On the way to the host's home kitchen, known as Yoonjudang, the members do not hide their excitement. Minami shares that she almost missed the shoot because of another schedule. "I called our agency's division head myself and begged, saying I really wanted to try Yoonjumo's cooking," she says. "That's how I made it here."

Once inside, the members greet the host with playful energy. "I can't believe I'm actually here after only seeing this place on YouTube," one says. They then call out a line from the show, asking the host to set the table. Yoonjumo welcomes them warmly, noting that RESCENE is the first idol group to visit the channel. "It's such an honor," the members reply. "Thank you for inviting us first."

Yoonjumo prepares a citron ade made with yuja, a specialty of Geoje. The city is meaningful to RESCENE, who serve as its promotional ambassadors. Minami suggests a toast in gyaru style, telling the group to shout "K-P."

Jenna then shares an update on the group's living situation. "We came here right after unpacking from our move today," she says. "Before, all five of us shared two rooms. Our new place has five rooms. Two members share one, two share another, and one has her own room. Our leader Wony uses a room alone, but hers is actually the smallest." LIV adds that a company director designed each room and the living area to match every member's taste. "We're really happy with it," she says.

During the episode, Yoonjumo makes a promise. If RESCENE reaches No. 1 anywhere, she will visit their dorm and cook for them. Minami takes the challenge seriously. "Then we have to hit No. 1," she says.

The pledge now looks within reach. After filming wrapped, RESCENE topped a music chart on July 8, drawing attention to whether Yoonjumo will follow through with a visit to the group's new dorm.
