RESCENE's Minami to Guide Jeon Somi Through Gyaru Makeup on Mnet Plus

RESCENE's Minami is stepping in front of the mirror to break down her gyaru makeup routine. The rookie girl group member appears on the second episode of "Twin Mirror Show," which premieres July 13 at 5 p.m. KST on Mnet Plus.

"Twin Mirror Show" is a beauty talk program where the host copies a guest's self-makeup look step by step, using the process to slide into conversation about beauty preferences and daily life. The host is singer Jeon Somi, one of the K-pop industry's best-known cosmetics enthusiasts.

Taking the baton from episode 1 guest Miyeon of (G)I-DLE, Minami arrives with a nearly bare face and walks viewers through the full gyaru transformation that first drew attention to her look. In a preview clip, Jeon Somi says it is her first time trying gyaru makeup and that she has been wanting to give it a shot.

The process does not stay easy for long. In the same preview, Minami tells Jeon Somi she is being too cautious, then steps in and takes over with a confident hand. At one point she deadpans that the "wait, is this right?" feeling is exactly the point, drawing laughs. Whether the two can pull off matching gyaru looks becomes the running question of the episode, alongside a candid conversation between two artists who share a background in survival programs.
