Hyun Bin, Jung Woo-sung Return in Disney+ "Made in Korea" Season 2 This September

Disney+ original series "Made in Korea Season 2" has confirmed a September release. Hyun Bin and Jung Woo-sung return to face off once again, and a teaser poster and pre-teaser trailer were unveiled alongside the announcement.

"Made in Korea Season 2" is a noir drama set nine years after the events of Season 1. It follows Baek Ki-tae, played by Hyun Bin, as he chases even greater power and ambition. Season 1 became the most-watched Disney+ Korean original of 2025 worldwide.

The teaser poster shows Baek Ki-tae in his new role as a department chief. A nameplate reading "Chief Baek Ki-tae" in Chinese characters hints at how far his influence has grown. He sits comfortably in a large office, signaling how much has changed since he reached the top of the power structure at the end of Season 1. The line "Remember. We're doing this for our country. Patriotism." points to the bigger ambitions ahead.

The pre-teaser trailer captures Baek Ki-tae's expanded ambition and the power struggles building around him. "I've waited a very long time for this moment," he says, seated inside the presidential office. Another line follows: "Sometimes a single choice changes the course of history." Tense action scenes hint at the arrival of a new force.

The story introduces Baek Ki-hyun, played by Woo Do-hwan, who stands opposed to Baek Ki-tae. Military powers pushing back against the Korean Central Intelligence Agency also set up fresh conflict. Jang Gun-young, played by Jung Woo-sung, resurfaces after his defeat by Baek Ki-tae in Season 1, raising expectations for a rematch between the two.

"Made in Korea Season 2" is again directed by Woo Min-ho, who helmed the first season. The cast also includes Woo Do-hwan, Seo Eun-soo, Won Ji-an, Jung Sung-il, and Roh Jae-won.

"Made in Korea Season 2" premieres on Disney+ in September.
