YUHZ Puts Fresh Spin on ARASHI's 'Happiness'
Rookie boy group YUHZ has put its own spin on ARASHI's beloved hit "Happiness," delivering a bright summer cover ahead of its latest promotions in Japan.
Released through the group's official YouTube channel on July 23, the performance transforms the classic J-pop track with YUHZ's youthful vocals and upbeat energy. The eight members reinterpret the song with a fresh sound while maintaining the uplifting spirit that made the original a longtime fan favorite.
The accompanying video leans into a carefree summer atmosphere, capturing the members playing by the sea, taking photos together and riding bicycles beneath fireworks. The visuals, combined with the group's natural chemistry, create the feel of a coming-of-age film and highlight the easygoing charm that has defined YUHZ since its debut.
The cover follows a teaser campaign that initially resembled an album rollout before revealing itself as a surprise tribute to ARASHI.
YUHZ debuted in May with the single album "Orange Record" and has steadily expanded its activities in Japan, including its first solo fan meeting. The group will continue local promotions from July 24 to 27, where it is also set to unveil a special stage for Japanese fans.
