BIBI Unzips Her Jumpsuit While Kneeling Among Male Dancers

Singer BIBI is drawing debate online after a bold performance at one of South Korea's biggest summer music festivals. Viewers are split over whether her choreography crossed a line or simply matched the tone of an adults-only event.

BIBI performed at Waterbomb Seoul 2026 on July 25 at the outdoor Global Stage of KINTEX in Ilsan, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.

She took the stage in a form-fitting white jumpsuit. During one number, she knelt on the wet stage and pulled down the zipper of her jumpsuit, revealing the bikini top she wore underneath. She then sang while kneeling among shirtless male backup dancers.

The moment spread quickly online after the show. Some viewers said the performance was too provocative for a public stage. Others criticized the disrobing choreography as overtly sexual, and pointed to the image of BIBI kneeling and looking up into the microphone while surrounded by male dancers.

Other viewers defended the performance. They noted that Waterbomb is an adults-only festival open to attendees 19 and older, and argued that its stages should not be judged by the same standards as a general broadcast show.

This is not the first time BIBI has made headlines at Waterbomb. During her 2022 appearance, one of her bikini straps came undone as she was taking off a T-shirt onstage. She quickly covered herself and continued the show after staff helped her adjust her outfit.
