KISS OF LIFE Tops Domestic and Global Buzz Rankings Ahead of 'SWEAT' Comeback

K-pop girl group KISS OF LIFE is generating strong interest ahead of its upcoming comeback, ranking first on both the domestic and global charts compiled by K-POPIT BOARD. A series of pre-release promotions has coincided with a sharp increase in online discussion surrounding the group.

According to K-POPIT BOARD, a K-pop data analytics platform, KISS OF LIFE ranked No. 1 on both its domestic and global charts on July 31.

The group recorded a Domestic Power Index, or PWR_KR, score of 73, placing first in South Korea. It also topped the Global Power Index, or PWR_GL, with a score of 72. The Power Index measures artist activity using data including global music chart performance, social media engagement and news coverage.

The rise in attention comes ahead of the group's first release in four months. On July 31, KISS OF LIFE unveiled the second music video teaser for its third single, "SWEAT," which is scheduled for release on Aug. 4 at 6 p.m. KST.

The second clip followed the first teaser, released on July 30, further building anticipation for the new single. The teasers preview a track combining electronic pop sounds with Latin-influenced rhythms.

Fandom engagement was a major contributor to the group's latest scores. KISS OF LIFE's fandom activity index rose by approximately 85 percent over the previous 10 days to reach 83. Social media mentions from users outside the group's established fandom also increased by 92.4 percent following the release of the first music video teaser.

Interest in the group was also fueled by its recent festival appearance. KISS OF LIFE performed at Waterbomb Seoul 2026, held from July 24 to 26.

A short clip showing members Belle and Natty sharing a brief onstage kiss attracted widespread attention online. According to the data, the video had generated 3.72 million views as of the measurement period.

The combination of the teaser campaign, the group's Waterbomb appearance and rising fan engagement has placed KISS OF LIFE at the center of online attention ahead of the Aug. 4 release of "SWEAT."
