Hyun Bin Faces Off Against Jung Woo-sung in "Made in Korea" Season 2
Disney+ has set a premiere date for the return of its noir series Made in Korea. The streamer announced that "Made in Korea" Season 2 will begin releasing on September 9, along with a new teaser trailer that lays out a story of ambition, betrayal, and open war between former allies.
The second season picks up nine years after the events of Season 1. It follows Baek Ki-tae, played by Hyun Bin, as he chases an even bigger ambition down an increasingly dangerous path.
The teaser leans on Baek Ki-tae's presence from the first frame. "I kept my head down, hid my claws, and waited for this moment," he says, signaling a colder and more aggressive version of the character heading into the new season.
Jung Woo-sung returns as Jang Geon-yeong, resurfacing after nine years and forcing Baek Ki-hyeon, played by Woo Do-hwan, to pick a side. "Choose. Which side are you on?" he asks. Baek Ki-tae answers with a warning of his own: "You really want to go at it with me?" The exchange hints that the two brothers are heading toward a direct confrontation.
"This is war. It ends when one side is dead," Baek Ki-tae says in another line from the teaser. The trailer cuts quickly through scenes of shifting loyalties and hard choices, framing Season 2 as a story where no one can back down and every character is fighting for both their beliefs and their survival.
Several cast members from Season 1 also return, including Seo Eun-soo, Won Ji-an, Jung Sung-il, and Roh Jae-won. The show is banking on a bigger scale, a wider story, and the chemistry between its lead actors to carry the second season.
"Made in Korea" Season 2 is a six-episode run. Episodes 1 and 2 premiere September 9, followed by episodes 3 and 4 on September 16 and episodes 5 and 6 on September 23.
