Dayoung and Jay Park Bring 'FLIRTY' to Mnet's 'M Countdown' Stage

WJSN's Dayoung will unveil the first live performance of her new single "FLIRTY" alongside Jay Park. The stage airs on Mnet's "M Countdown" on Thursday at 6 p.m. KST.

Her agency, Starship Entertainment, confirmed the appearance on the same day. It marks the first televised performance of the track since Dayoung released the song and music video two days earlier.

"FLIRTY" is a pop song about the feeling of a new connection taking shape. Dayoung's vocals sit against Jay Park's tone on the feature, a pairing that has drawn quick attention since the release.

For the "M Countdown" stage, the two will perform together with full choreography. The routine leans on face-to-face movements, dynamic shifts between soft and sharp beats, and close attention to expression.

The collaboration also signals a broader trend among K-pop soloists who are pairing with hip-hop and R&B artists outside the idol system to expand their sound. For Dayoung, bringing Jay Park onto a live idol music show stage puts that crossover directly in front of a mainstream audience.
