AtHeart Continues 'Time Travel Project' With Roo'Ra Cover '3! 4!'
K-POP group AtHeart is leaning into a Y2K look for its next release. On August 6, the seven-member group shared cartoon-style concept artwork for its upcoming single "3! 4!" across its official social media accounts.
The images show all seven members, Michi, Arin, Caitlin, Bom, Seohyun, Aurora, and Nahyun, drawn as illustrated characters. Each is dressed in the outfits they will wear during the single's promotions. The styling pulls directly from late-'90s and early-2000s fashion, mixing crop tops, wide-leg pants, and bandanas into a full Y2K look.
"3! 4!" is the second single from the group's Time Travel Project, a remake series in which AtHeart reinterprets songs released in 1996. The project focuses on tracks that drew attention in South Korea and the United States that year, giving each one a new arrangement in the group's own style.
The first single in the series was "Say It," a reworking of "Lovefool" by Swedish pop group The Cardigans. For the follow-up, AtHeart has chosen "3! 4!" by Roo'Ra, one of the most recognizable Korean pop songs of the mid-1990s. The group plans to keep the original's summery mood while layering in its own vocal color.
"3! 4!" drops on the 19th at 6 p.m. KST on major music platforms.
