MONSTA X Sets Sept. 4 Comeback With 'The Phase'

MONSTA X has officially set Sept. 4 as the release date for its next Korean album, unveiling a surprise coming-soon teaser that signals the beginning of a new chapter for the group.

Shared through the group's official social media channels, the cinematic clip features the members emerging from streams of light before gradually coming together into a single silhouette. The visual motif builds toward the reveal of the album title, "The Phase," suggesting themes of transformation and a fresh beginning while highlighting the group's signature performance-driven identity.

The teaser also appears to expand on the storyline introduced during MONSTA X's ongoing "THE X : NEXUS" world tour. Fans quickly connected the new footage to the concert VCR, which depicted the members passing through a glowing portal into a new dimension. The latest video seems to pick up where that narrative left off, raising anticipation for how the album will continue the concept.

"The Phase" marks MONSTA X's first Korean release in about a year. Following an active period of solo, unit and group promotions, the members are preparing to reunite with new music before resuming the North American leg of their world tour in October.
