K-pop boy group ENHYPEN painted Busan red with a vampire-themed spectacle over the weekend. From sharp choreography to moments that brought the group closer to the crowd, the group traded energy with a packed house across two nights.

ENHYPEN (Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo and Ni-ki) held its world tour "ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR 'BLOOD SAGA'" on Aug. 8 at Sajik Indoor Gymnasium in Dongnae district, Busan. It was the second of two nights, following Saturday's show. Together, the concerts drew 14,000 fans.

The opening lived up to the tour's title. A massive screen at the front of the stage filled with footage of blood slowly rising to the top. Silhouettes of the members appeared on the VCR next, drawing a roar from the crowd. When the words "BLOOD SAGA" appeared across the screen, the cheering reached its peak.

ENHYPEN held the stage with tight, forceful performances, but the group often broke away from set paths to get closer to fans. The energy in the room surged the moment "Go Big or Go Home" started. Fans jumped to their feet, lightsticks raised over their heads. Their fanchants echoed through the gymnasium. The members moved between the main stage and the extended platform, feeding off the crowd's energy. The group's precise choreography remained a clear strength, but the looser moments closer to the audience carried an energy of their own.

The night's highlight was a preview of an unreleased song. The track was first performed at Saturday's Busan concert, but by Sunday, many fans were already singing along. That they knew the lyrics less than a day after the first performance was a sign of just how many times they had replayed clips from the night before.

When the new song ended, exclamations of awe rippled through the crowd. Some fans held their heads in their hands, still caught in the moment. Then, almost on cue, the audience began shouting "one more time." The group agreed. When a few members started performing the choreography, fans called out for "everyone," and the full lineup joined in. This time, ENGENEs sang the song while the members danced. The singing was so confident it was easy to forget the song had only been performed once before.

The venue was indoors, but the air conditioning could not keep up with the crowd. It stayed hot and humid throughout the show. Fans used handheld fans to cool off, while some tied their hair back as the heat built. As the night went on, the mix of heat and humidity left the air near the ceiling looking hazy. The conditions were less than comfortable. Even so, the energy in the room never really dipped, and the members kept working the stage until the end.

Near the close of the show, Sunghoon spoke about the response to the new song. "After yesterday's stage, I looked at the reactions and saw that everyone loved the new song," he said. "That trust let us show you more today. Thanks to you, this became a great show."

"The sightlines were good, so I could see every fan's face," Jungwon said. "I'll remember that and keep working hard. No matter what happens, we'll hold our ground."

Jake added a preview of what comes next. "We'll take the energy from these two nights into our promotions," he said. "These promotions are going to be our coolest yet, so please look forward to them."

With the Busan shows behind them, ENHYPEN now heads into its comeback. The group will release its eighth mini album, "THE SIN : BLISS," on August 21. The world tour will then resume in Macau on Oct. 17 and 18.
