K-POP group IVE has scored a platinum certification in Japan with its fourth Japanese release.

The Recording Industry Association of Japan announced on August 10 that IVE's Japanese EP "LUCID DREAM" crossed 250,000 in cumulative shipments, earning platinum status in the association's July 2026 Gold Disc list.

Released in May, "LUCID DREAM" moved fast on Japan's charts. The EP debuted at No. 1 on both the Oricon Weekly Combined Albums Ranking and the Oricon Weekly Albums Ranking, selling 120,000 copies in its first week. It also topped the Billboard Japan Weekly Album Sales chart.

The group backed the release with major live dates in Japan. As part of its second world tour, "SHOW WHAT I AM," IVE played solo shows at Kyocera Dome Osaka and Tokyo Dome, drawing a combined audience of about 127,000. The concerts were covered by major Japanese outlets including Nikkan Sports, along with television programs such as Fuji TV's "Mezamashi TV."

IVE also made the rounds on Japan's biggest music shows, performing on TBS's "CDTV Live! Live!," Nippon TV's "THE MUSIC DAY," and TV Asahi's 1,500th-episode summer two-hour special of "Music Station."
