Singer-songwriter Colde is returning with his first EP in three years, capturing the uncertainty, intensity and fleeting moments of youth through ICY BABY.

Colde will release the new EP across streaming platforms on August 14 at 6 p.m. KST. Rather than broadly positioning the project as a collection of "songs for youth," ICY BABY draws from Colde's own experiences while exploring the questions, emotions and contradictions faced by those navigating the same stage of life.

The eight-track project is led by three title tracks: "PULL UP," "LIFE IS A MOVIE (feat. DIMO REX)" and "SHUT DA FXXKA AND GO." Each approaches youth from a different perspective, allowing Colde to move between romance, uncertainty and defiance throughout the record.

"PULL UP" looks back on an immature relationship, following someone who attempts to hide their pain behind a carefree exterior only to find themselves consumed by regret. "LIFE IS A MOVIE" compares life's romantic and chaotic moments to a film, emphasizing the determination to keep moving forward until the credits roll.

"SHUT DA FXXKA AND GO," which is credited as the Korean title track, takes a more forceful approach. Drawing from Colde's own experiences with uncertainty and frustration, the track delivers a message of encouragement to those currently navigating similarly difficult periods.

ICY BABY also includes "ICY," "DRIPPY (feat. punchnello)," "GIRLS ♡," "DOLLAR BILLS (feat. Khakii)" and "BIG TALK (feat. JJANGYOU, Choi WonBin)." The collaborators who appear across the project, are artists who have shared different parts of Colde's musical journey throughout the years.

The project's exploration of youth also extends into its visuals as director Kim Young, leader of visual creative collective IDIOTS and a longtime friend and collaborator of Colde, participated in the accompanying music video. Reuniting creatively, the pair sought to translate the energy and memories of their younger years into the video's imagery.

ICY BABY arrives three years after Colde's previous EP and will be followed by the "ICE BREAK CLUB" release party on August 15, where he is set to perform the new music live for the first time.
