K-POP group Stray Kids have landed their ninth consecutive No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and posted their highest-ever showing on the Hot 100. The run cements the group as one of the most consistent chart forces in global pop.

Billboard announced on August 18 local time that "THIS & THAT," the group's mini album released on the 7th, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 dated August 22. That gives Stray Kids nine straight albums that have entered the chart at the top spot. The album also marked the group's biggest first-week U.S. sales to date and makes Stray Kids the group with the most Billboard 200 No. 1s of the 21st century.

The title track "This & That" debuted at No. 38 on the Hot 100, a new personal best. It is the group's sixth entry on the chart, following "LALALALA" in November 2023, "Lose My Breath" featuring Charlie Puth, "Chk Chk Boom," "CEREMONY" and "Do It."

Stray Kids also topped the Artist 100 chart. It is their eighth time ruling the Billboard 200 and Artist 100 in the same week, after "ODDINARY," "MAXIDENT," "★★★★★ (5-STAR)," "ATE," "HOP," "KARMA" and "DO IT." The new album also hit No. 1 on Top Album Sales, World Albums and Vinyl Albums, No. 4 on Digital Song Sales, No. 15 on Billboard Global Excl. U.S. and No. 25 on the Billboard Global 200, charting in 17 categories in total.

In a statement through their agency, JYP Entertainment, the group said, "As a team that truly loves music and hopes to give people positive energy through it, we are honored to reach nine straight No. 1s on the Billboard 200. As if by fate, in our ninth year since debut, we've landed our ninth Billboard 200 No. 1 and the record for most No. 1s by a group in the 21st century, and that carries real meaning for us as a K-pop group. More than anything, this was possible because of STAY, the fandom that has never stopped supporting us. With STAY's love beside us, we want to keep showing music fans around the world how far Stray Kids and K-pop can go. Thank you from the heart."

Sales numbers were strong at home and abroad. According to Hanteo Chart, the album sold 3,289,269 copies in its first week, making it the group's fourth triple-million first-week seller. It topped Hanteo's weekly album chart for August 3 to 9 and Circle Chart's weekly album and retail album charts for August 2 to 8, and held No. 1 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart for six straight days. The album and its single entered the U.K.'s Official Top 100 charts at the same time, hit No. 1 on France's SNEP Top Albums chart and the Netherlands' Dutch Album Top 100, No. 2 on Germany's Official Top 100 Albums, and No. 3 on Australia's ARIA Top 50 Albums.

Stray Kids are currently on their world tour, and on the 29th and 30th they will become the first international male act to headline Japan's Tokyo National Stadium.
