KATSEYE, the global girl group launched by HYBE and Geffen Records, keeps climbing on the world's biggest charts. The group's latest single and new EP are both showing strong momentum in the United States and abroad.

According to the latest Billboard charts dated Aug. 22, released Aug. 18 in the U.S., KATSEYE's pre-release track "Animal" reached No. 30 on the Hot 100, Billboard's main songs chart. That is a jump of five spots from the previous week. "Animal" first entered the Hot 100 at No. 24 on the Aug. 8 chart, setting the group's highest Hot 100 debut, and has now charted for three straight weeks.

The song is also making noise on U.S. radio. "Animal" landed at No. 24 this week on Pop Airplay, which tracks spins at U.S. pop radio stations. On the Billboard Global 200, which pulls in streaming and sales from more than 200 countries and regions, the track sits at No. 16. It ranks No. 19 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart.

The group's third EP, "WILD," released Aug. 14, is off to a strong start. KATSEYE's Spotify Monthly Listeners rose from about 35.11 million during the July 13 to Aug. 9 window to about 37.05 million during the July 20 to Aug. 16 window. That is a gain of roughly 1.94 million listeners. The figure is closing in on the group's all-time high of about 37.4 million, set in January.

The title track, "Gnarly" (Hootie Frutti), opened at No. 6 on Spotify's Daily Top Songs U.S. chart and No. 12 on the Global chart on release day, Aug. 14. The other four tracks on "WILD" also entered Spotify's U.S. and Global charts. With the pre-release "Animal" still rising on Billboard and every song on the new EP landing on the charts, KATSEYE's global streaming run is only building.
