Girl group NiziU has added another milestone in Japan. The group's first Japanese best album, "Portfolio," has been certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ).

According to the association's official website, "Portfolio," released on July 1, earned Gold certification as of July 2026. The RIAJ awards Gold certification to albums that reach cumulative shipments of 100,000 units in Japan.

"Portfolio" brings together NiziU's musical journey from its pre-debut in July 2020 through the present. The 29-track album includes the pre-debut song "Make you happy," official debut single "Step and a step," and the Japanese version of "LOVE LINE," the title track of the group's second Korean single. The album traces six years of the group's growth, from its early days to its more mature sound today.

NiziU has remained active across both music releases and live performances. In April, the group released its second Japanese EP, "GOOD GIRL BUT NOT FOR YOU." Its touring scale has continued to grow as well. This year's solo arena tour, "NiziU Live with U 2026 'NEW EvoNUtion,'" spanned 12 shows across five regions in Japan, with all dates selling out.

In June, NiziU followed with its second dome tour, "NiziU Live with U 2026 'NiziU : THE CINEMA,'" holding concerts at Kyocera Dome Osaka and Tokyo Dome. The shows marked the group's first solo dome concerts in about three and a half years, following its first dome tour in 2022. That earlier run also sold out all four shows at Tokyo Dome and Kyocera Dome Osaka, underscoring the group's sustained ticket power in Japan.
