ALD1 Returns With Second EP 'UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST'

K-POP boy group ALPHA DRIVE ONE, also known as ALD1, is back with a new EP. The group releases its second mini album, "UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST," on Monday at 6 p.m. KST across major music platforms, kicking off a new promotional run.

The record centers on the confusion and growing pains of youth, framed through the lens of outside judgment and prejudice. It is the group's follow-up to a debut that quickly established them as one of the year's most closely watched rookie acts.

Lead single "BORN DIRE" carries a message about pushing forward even under pressure. The track blends British rave and punk elements, built around fast-moving rap and vocal sections designed to translate to stage performance. The accompanying music video leans into narrative-driven visuals rather than straight choreography footage.

The EP includes seven tracks: "BORN DIRE," "Diamond Hour," "One More Time," "Talk to me," "OMG!," "Good Life," and "WELCOME home."

"Diamond Hour" is a hip-hop and R&B track that samples "Sarangirananeun Geon" by singer Jeon Yu-na. "One More Time" leans on a heavy bass sound, while "Talk to me" carries a summer feel. "OMG!" and "Good Life" were first released as singles in May.

Closing track "WELCOME home" was previewed earlier on the group's fan concert tour "STAR ROAD." The members took part in writing the lyrics themselves, reflecting on their journey since debut.

ALPHA DRIVE ONE debuted in January with the first EP "EUPHORIA," which sold more than one million copies. The group went on to score four wins on weekly music shows and picked up rookie awards at major year-end ceremonies.
