TWICE's Jihyo Advises Sister Seoyeon Ahead of TUIDE Debut

HYBE's newest girl group, TUIDE, is stepping into the spotlight with a familiar name in the mix. Member Seoyeon is the youngest sister of TWICE's Jihyo, and she is making her debut with her older sister's blessing.

TUIDE, whose seven members are Seohee, Seoyeon, Elena, Jia, Saki, Sea, and Lee Ha-nui, held a media showcase for their first mini album "TUNE & PLAY" on Monday at Yes24 Live Hall in Seoul's Gwangjin district.

Seoyeon drew attention well before her debut as the youngest sister of TWICE's Jihyo. Their middle sister, Lee Ha-eum, works as an actress and model. With Seoyeon's debut, all three sisters are now active in the entertainment industry.

Jihyo, who has led TWICE as leader since her own debut, is now in her 12th year in the industry. Ahead of her youngest sister's debut, she passed along advice drawn from experience.

"She told me the people I'll see more often than family are my members, so we should trust and lean on each other, be each other's support, and have a good run together," Seoyeon said.

TUIDE's debut album carries five tracks, led by the title song "SUN KISS." The tracklist also includes "ABD," "Echo," "Flip-Flop Girl," and "GRLS."

"TUNE & PLAY" drops Monday at 6 p.m. KST.
