EVAN Unpacks His Inner Story in New Track Samplers
Former ENHYPEN member EVAN is opening the door to his first solo project. The singer released two track samplers from his upcoming debut EP, "DEATH OF ME," giving fans an early taste of the record ahead of its release.
EVAN shared the samplers for "Going Home" and "Noise" on his official social media on the 24th. Each clip pairs a short piece of the song with an object that captures its mood.
"Going Home" is a dream pop track built on gentle chord progressions and warm instrumentation. The sampler features a house-shaped candle glowing in the dark, echoing lyrics like "my room where winter briefly came" and "a night dyed with starlight."
"Noise" moves in a different direction. The song is a pop R&B cut layered with lo-fi guitar riffs and noise textures. Its sampler shows a radio tuning through static, a visual nod to the track's message about staying true to your own pace. Lines such as "I don't care 'bout the noise around" and "I tune it just fine" carry EVAN's steady, self-assured tone.
"DEATH OF ME" arrives on the 7th of next month. The album is framed as a declaration about taking control of tangled emotions and moving forward. It includes eight tracks in total, led by the title song "Death of Me." EVAN led production across the entire project, using a mix of genres to shape his inner world into sound.
The two samplers are only the start. EVAN plans to roll out previews for the rest of the tracklist one by one in the coming weeks.
