BLACKPINK's LISA Teases Fall Comeback With New EP and Lead Single

BLACKPINK's LISA is coming back with new solo music this fall. The singer shared the news on Instagram on the 24th, revealing that her upcoming EP "PRESS PLAY" will arrive on October 23, with lead single "SaWaDiKa" dropping on September 3.

The post came with a single photo. In it, LISA stares straight into the camera with a full fringe and long, loose hair. Smoky makeup rounds out the look, giving the shot a sharp, moody feel.

The comeback rollout arrives on the heels of a rough stretch for BLACKPINK. On the 8th, the group marked its 10th debut anniversary with a fan meeting at the National Museum of Korea in Seoul's Yongsan district. The event drew heavy criticism after fans learned it had been announced only two days in advance and limited to just 40 attendees.

All four members addressed the backlash. JISOO, the eldest, apologized during a live broadcast the same day. ROSÉ sent her own message through a fan platform. LISA told fans, "I'm really sorry about the way things turned out." JENNIE also shared an apology.

Now, with a new EP and single on the calendar, LISA is turning attention back to the music. September 3 marks the first checkpoint.
