WAYF BOYS to Release "SWAG," First New Single Since Joining Interscope Records

WAYF BOYS are accelerating their global activities with their first new single since joining Interscope Records.

Made up of Andrew, Junmyeong, Anderson, Samuel, and Ryan, WAYF BOYS will release their new single "SWAG" on August 28. The track arrives just three weeks after the group made their official debut with "WAYF BOYS DO" on August 7.

The group recently kicked off the countdown to the release by unveiling a teaser for "SWAG" through their official social media channels. Featuring monochrome visuals, distinctive textures and stylized cinematography, the teaser offers a brief but striking glimpse into the atmosphere of the upcoming track.

"SWAG" also holds particular significance as a song that has been part of WAYF BOYS' journey since before their official debut. The group chose "Waterbomb Seoul 2026" as their first official stage, where they performed both "WAYF BOYS DO" and "SWAG." Following the release of "WAYF BOYS DO" as their debut single, the group is now bringing "SWAG," which received an enthusiastic response at the festival, to all streaming platforms.

WAYF BOYS have notably introduced their music through live performances before officially releasing it thus trying to break away from the conventional promotional cycle of releasing music before bringing it to the stage. Instead, the group has allowed audiences to experience their songs and performances firsthand before following up with an official release, further establishing their identity.

WAYF BOYS formally introduced their free-spirited energy and individuality with "WAYF BOYS DO" earlier this month. The music video attracted around 6,000 concurrent viewers during its YouTube premiere, signaling early interest from fans both in Korea and overseas. Beyond their music, the members have actively incorporated their own tastes and sensibilities across fashion, visuals and performance, gradually building a bold team identity that refuses to be confined by conventional boundaries.

More recently, WAYF BOYS signed with global label Interscope Records, officially setting their overseas activities into motion. As "SWAG" marks the group's first new release since joining the label, the single represents another significant milestone in their rapidly developing career.
